Watch 2 news reports on the TV or internet for each candidate. Complete the Media Watch Log. Summarize your information to explain what the news report was about. Next, tell us if you thought the report was harmful or helpful to the candidate.

Read an American newspaper and discover one major issue in the presidential election. Read an international newspaper and see if this issue is discussed elsewhere in the world. Compare and contrast the newspapers to determine if this issue is important in the USA and in another part of the world.

Read an American newspaper at home or online and a newspaper from somewhere else on the world. You can find the newspapers on my website. Who does the newspaper report as a forerunner in his presidential race? List the newspaper, the name of the candidate, and the party he belongs to.
